AUSTIN, TX – The Lotto Texas jackpot remains the largest lottery prize in the world, reaching an estimated $73.75 million for Wednesday night’s drawing after no one won Monday’s $73.5 million jackpot.
The Texas Lottery confirmed that Lotto Texas currently surpasses both Powerball and Mega Millions, making it the biggest lottery jackpot available globally. Monday’s drawing marked the 93rd consecutive rollover since the jackpot started at $5 million on June 26, 2024, setting a record for the longest jackpot run in Lotto Texas history.
While no one secured the top prize, lower-tier winners continue to collect payouts, including those who opted for the Extra! add-on feature, which can increase non-jackpot prizes by up to $10,000.
The current Lotto Texas jackpot is now the eighth-largest in the game’s history, still trailing the record $145 million prize won in El Paso in 2004.
Drawings occur every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:12 p.m. CT.
