Unclaimed $1 Million Mega Millions Ticket Set to Expire

HOUSTON, TX — A $1 million Mega Millions ticket purchased in Houston is set to expire on Sunday, Sept. 15, unless the prize is claimed.

The winning ticket, bought at All-Season Food on Antoine Drive, matched all five white ball numbers (24-46-49-62-66) from the March 19 drawing but missed the gold Mega Ball number (7).

The ticket holder, who also won an additional $2 prize, must validate the ticket by the deadline to avoid forfeiture of the $1 million second-tier prize.

To claim the prize in person, the ticket must be presented at a Texas Lottery claim center by 5 p.m. local time on Friday, Sept. 13, due to weekend office closures.

Claim centers’ hours may vary, so checking texaslottery.com for updates is recommended.

Alternatively, the prize can be claimed by mail, provided the ticket and a completed claim form are postmarked on or before Sept. 15.
