Sweetwater Man Goes Viral for Billboard in Quest for Love

SWEETWATER, TX — A bachelor from Sweetwater has made national news for his billboard looking for love.

70-year-old Al Gilberti from Sweetwater has taken his search for love to new heights, quite literally.

Gilberti, a self-described "lonely male," has invested $400 a week to feature himself on a 20-foot high billboard in the west Texas town.

He said he is also looking for someone with a "slim build" but otherwise does not have a preference for looks.

The billboard shows Gilberti's photograph alongside a personal ad seeking a "female marriage-minded" companion who shares his enjoyment of karaoke.
