Study Predicts Texas to be Future of America

AUSTIN, TX - A recent study conducted by moveBuddha, a relocation technology company, has pointed towards a significant shift in the future population dynamics of the United States, particularly in Texas. The study, titled "The Future of America," predicts that specific Texas cities will supersede New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago to become the most populous cities in the nation by the year 2100.

According to the study, which was released during the summer, New York City (with 8.3 million residents) and Los Angeles (with 3.8 million residents) are currently the most populated cities in America. However, the study anticipates a remarkable transformation in just 77 years, forecasting that the three most significant cities will evolve to be the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex (projected at 33.9 million residents), Houston (expected to reach 31.38 million residents), and Austin (forecasted to have 22.29 million residents).

Additionally, the study acknowledged San Antonio as a swiftly growing city that narrowly missed securing a position in the Top 10 ranking of the most populous metropolitan areas in 2100. While San Antonio was listed as No. 11, the study did not disclose the projected population total for the city.

Researchers conducted the study by analyzing data from the U.S. Census Bureau, focusing on metropolitan areas with populations exceeding 250,000 residents. Utilizing the growth rates observed from the 2010-2020 U.S. Census, moveBuddha projected the population growth for the following 77 years.

Another significant revelation from the study indicates that New York City and Los Angeles are expected to descend in the ranking by 2100, settling at No. 5 and No. 7, respectively, among the most populated metro areas. Conversely, Phoenix will emerge as the fourth-largest U.S. city by population in 2100. Additionally, several Sunbelt cities, including Atlanta at No. 6, Orlando at No. 9, and Miami at No. 10, are projected to be among the top 10 most populated cities in the same timeframe.
