City of Ballinger Mourns Death of Police Chief’s Teenage Son

 

BALLINGER, TX -- Ballinger City Offices will be closed early next week to mourn the loss of Ballinger Police Chief Ray Cornutt’s 19-Year-Old son, Logan. 

The following is a message from the City of Ballinger: 

The City of Ballinger is joining along side our Chief Cornutt and their family as we mourn the passing of his son. 

To accommodate all employees, friends and family wishing to participate in the services, the City will be instituting the following.

  • Monday 03-13-2023 we will have normal hours but staff may be reduced or released early, our utility window will be staffed for payments, and to accommodate utility customers we will have extended hours to make payments until 6:30 PM.
  • Tuesday 03-14-2023 the City will accommodate all staff who wish to attend services for Logan, and City Hall will be closed to the public until 2:00 PM, we will offer extended counter hours through 6:30 PM for customers wishing to pay in person Tuesday.
