WATCH: Fire at Midland Elementary School Burns Playground

 

MIDLAND, TX- Playground equipment at a Midland Elementary School caught fire Wednesday afternoon.

According to a representative from the City of Midland, the blaze occurred at Bunche Elementary and was put out at 3:15 p.m. The fire did not burn any buildings at the school.

No one was injured as Midland ISD is closed for spring break and no information on what caused the fire is available. A representative for the school was not available for comment.

The Midland Fire Department is currently investigating.
