SAN ANGELO, TX – Gas prices across the state of Texas and the U.S. continue to sky rocket and hit San Angelo consumers hard over the weekend.
Currently the national average price for gasoline is over $4 a gallon for regular unleaded. Texas has not reached the $4 mark yet bet it's coming. Currently Texas' average price per gallon is $3.726.
In San Angelo the highest average price recorded was $3.991 per gallon in Jul. 2008. Current projections has the price expected to rise past the current record.
