Odessa College to Require All Employees to be Fully Vaccinated

 

ODESSA, TX- Odessa College will require all employees to be fully vaccinated by January 10, 2022.

According to information from Odessa College, employees of the college will have to get one dose of a single dose or both doses of a two-part vaccine no later than January 26. They will be considered fully vaccinated two weeks after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.

Human resources will assist employees in tracking leave time and employees must set up their own appointments to receive the vaccine.

Employees must submit vaccination document to Odessa College on January 10. These include: a vaccine card, a copy of vaccination records from a healthcare provider or pharmacy, medical records that document vaccination, immunization records, or  a copy of documentation that records of the type of vaccine administered, date of vaccine administration, and the name of the doctor  or clinic site  that gave the vaccine.

Odessa College employees who are not vaccinated must be tested once every 7 days and provide documents to human resources. If an employee is not at work for 7 days, they must be tested and provide documentation of that test to H.R.
