Anonymous Winner Claims $3 Million Lottery Ticket Bought in Lubbock

 

LUBBOCK – A Stripes convenience store in Lubbock had sold a $3 million winning lottery ticket.

According to the Texas Lottery, the claimant, who wishes to remain anonymous, won the millions on the Texas Lottery Mega Millions game. According to KCBD, the quick pick ticket matched all five numbers (1, 10, 44, 47, and 56) but not the Mega Ball, which was 3.

The drawing was held on August 27th, 2021.

To win the jackpot, all 5 numbers and the Mega Ball would have to match.

The current jackpot for the Mega Millions is $368 million.

Lottery drawings are on Tuesday and Friday at 10:12 p.m.
