LUBBOCK, TX – As the community continues to process the death of Lubbock Sheriff Office Sgt. Josh Bartlett, funeral arrangements have been announced for the fallen officer.
Bartlett was the SWAT commander that responded to an incident in Levelland on Thursday, July 15th. The sergeant was killed during a standoff with a suspect.
According to Bartlett's family, the sergeant served two combat tours in Iraq with the 10th Mountain Division of the U.S. Army.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Church in Lubbock.
The 38-year-old is survived by his wife and three children.
