Injured DPS Trooper Released From the Hospital

BRYAN, TX -- Days after Trooper  Juan Rojas Tovar was wounded in the line of duty while pursuing a mass shooting suspect, he is now recovering at home.

While Tovar has a long road ahead for recovery, the law enforcement community is rallying to support the trooper and his family.

Earlier this week, several troopers showed up to Tovar's son's baseball game to cheer him on.
