Bass Tournament for a Good Cause

SWEETWATER,TX – This weekend the Sweetwater Bass Club is holding a bass tournament for a good cause at Lake O.H.Ivie.

Lilly Kemp is a 7-year-old who has been battling cancer for the past three years. Lilly has an Intramedullary tumor growing on her spine.

“Since 2020 she has been going through chemotherapy.” President of the Sweetwater Bass Club Cody Kuehler said. “As a parent going through this rough time and COVID would be tough.”

Registration starts Friday, March 19, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. and ends at 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday starting at 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. at Concho Marina. The event is scheduled for Lake O.H. Ivie.

It is $150.00 to enter the tournament and all the proceeds go to Lilly Kemp's family.

There is a $3,500.00 cash prize for 1st place and other cash prizes for 2nd and 3rd place. The prize money was donated by sponsors.
