Jeep Club Parade Celebrates Labor Day, First Responders, and Trump

ODESSA, TX — Even a pandemic could not put a damper on the Permian Basin’s Labor Day Celebrations.

In order to celebrate the summer holiday, the Texas Tactical Jeep club organized a parade that aimed to honor first responders, military personnel, and President Trump.

The parade began at Buice Elementary and weaved throughout Odessa before returning to the school.

According to organizers, the parade was intended to be peaceful and inclusive of everyone, regardless of political affiliation.

“I could only hope that people would follow suit,” said co-organizer Tess Talley. “Come together and fly a flag of your choice. You have that decision. Make it. We don’t have to hate each other just because we think differently.”
