University Responds After Student Posts Racial Tik Tok Video

ABILENE, TX — After a Hardin-Simmons University student posted what many deemed as a problematic and offensive Tik Tok video, the university announced they were “actively investigating and taking decisive action."

According to KTXS, the student can be seen wearing a Hardon Simmons t-shirt and appears to show “how she thinks people react when a black person kills another black person or a black person kills a white person versus when a white person kills a black person.”

According to her video, she believes people do not pay any attention to the first two cases, but are enraged when a white individual kills a black individual.

In a Twitter post the school sent the following message:

“HSU became aware late this evening of a deeply disappointing and unacceptable social media post by one of our students. The message shared by this student is not reflective of the Christian values of our institution. We are actively investigating and taking decisive action.”

The tweet received multiple responses from students, parents, and alumni.

"The fact that I called this girl my friend.... and than she does this?!?!, @HSUTX do what you gotta do," said Zana Abdalla, a current HSU student. "

“At this point, with the evidence being out there, it is not much of an investigation to be done. As a parent, I am expecting to see actions taken immediately. This is not just about Christian values. You have to stand for humanity!” said Farrah Crawford, a parent of an HSU student.

"Why is it so hard for HSU to explicitly condemn racism? Just call it what it is," said Cody Milner, an HSU alum.

Everyone KNOWS that is a true depiction of what happens. Black lives ONLY matter when a white cop kills a black person. Its not my opinion, its a fact. Does anyone talk about ANY of the black on black crime that happens in cities? Black on white crime? (90% of interracial crime is black on white) Black abortions? Nope, they do not. Please enlighten me on how she was racist by her portrayal in the video above. I know there are many black people that don't give this BLM movement a 2nd thought because they know that its rooted in fiction. There was only one perfect person to ever walk this earth and unfortunately, he's deciding to sit this one out.

"Dissent goes against our Christian Values. After all, Jesus never dissented against anything. Right?" I don't agree with the young woman's opinion, but HSU is doing the exact opposite of what a University is supposed to do. Opinions must not be silenced. They must be discussed and debated in a mature and rational manner. What would Jesus do if he encountered a person whose opinion he found disagreeable? I think he would sit down and talk to the person.

You won't hear Mekhi's name mentioned much, if at all. See, Mekhi wasn't committing any crimes or approached for outstanding warrants, he wasn't trying to pass counterfeit money, and he didn't get killed after wrestling away a police officer's weapon. Mekhi was a 3 year old little boy on his way back from getting a haircut, when a gang member in a car pulled along side of the one he was in and began shooting indiscriminately at Mekhi and his step father.

From Friday through early Monday, 106 people were shot in Chicago. Fourteen of those shot were killed, with twelve of the victims being younger than 18 years old, and five of those children ultimately dying.

Were there any marches or people stealing alcohol or Gucci purses in his honor? Have any disheveled, whiney snowflakes lined up to earn brownie points with BLM, or scrawled any cliche slogans on poster boards or walls in his memory?

The truth is, not a single name of the 106 shooting victims will be an issue for BLM, ANTIFA or any of the basement dwellers who, save for an outing of organized vandalism or racial clout chasing, would much rather be in front of their XBOX, basking in their ''white privilege", out of view from their fellow ingrate comrades.

The girl in the video wasn't ''racially insensitive'', she's without a doubt, spot on. She made an observation, a very obvious observation which many are afraid to publicly recognize as demonstrably true, and an observation which not only puts into perspective some of the true threats to the Black community, but begs the question: Why are the far more prevalent numbers of victims of Black on Black crimes all but ignored, while the world is expected to stop and undergo a DNC-approved makeover, due to a handful of people dying in altercatioins with police officers, usually in the act of resisting arrest or assaulting the officers in question?

Very odd, how if this girl chose to run out and deface federal property or commit any array of felonious acts which are now broadcast on TV like scheduled sporting events, no one would look twice. She'd be "protesting", right? And who would WE be to question it....some kind of racists??

She exercised her 1st amendment right to voice a concern which many share. She did it peaceably, at no personal expense or harm done to anyone, and yet faces the wrath of the charlatanical Left for rightfully and humorously shitting all over their sacred cow of privileged hypocrisy.

If the fat cats at HSU are going to forgo any sense of reason and objectivity, grease up and bend over for the radical Left's war machine, maybe they should lose their credibility as an institution of learning, right along with their dignity.

Only SOME lives matter, but nowhere near as much as certain agendas.

While Lares has posted another laser sharp assessment of the situation in totality, I'd like to interject something that has me looking as quizzically as a German Shepard listening to bagpipes. I must have missed the memo that a hangman's noose was, by it's very existence, a symbol of racism. During the bygone era when hanging was the accepted form of legal execution in this country, there were men who made their living by travelling and performing these hangings and most were quite particular about the methods and equipment used. Horse thieves, cattle rustlers, bank robbers, murderers and rapists were hanged by the neck using the particular knot that has become known as a hangman's noose. Many, if not the vast majority of those legal hangings were not black men, they were convicted criminals, sentenced to death.
Now before you get all riled up about lynching blacks, I doubt seriously that those murderous backwoods bozos even knew how to tie a noose, much less likely they took the time to do so. When hangings occurred outside of the legal execution of convicts, most ropes were merely tied into a loop and placed around the neck, and the victim was hoisted off the ground until they asphyxiated. Brutal and effective.
I'm sure there are probably some photos out there of lynching victims hung by a noose, and I'll concede that it probably did happen, rarely. But I cannot in my rational mind connect a noose to racism. If that offends your hypersensitive feelings, I really don't give a squat.

This "student" needs more learning.

"Do black people kill one another? Sure they do. Ninety percent of black murder victims are killed by black assailants. But guess what? White people kill one another, too. Eighty-three percent of white victims are killed by white assailants. See, the vast majority of violent crime is committed within — not between — racial groups. Crime is a matter of proximity and opportunity. People victimize their own rather than drive across town to victimize somebody else."

The perpetrators are brought to justice in most of those cases. The difference, cops rarely miss a days pay. Just another attempt at smoke screening and dog whistles.

How can you use a cherry picked video ? If you watch the full TikTok, the man peeks out and then says "It's true tho" .

It's also not racist. Racism is if she believed white people were higher than black people. She merely stated her own opinion on what she believes is going on. It's called freedom of speech.

Drew Brees gave his opinion. What did that get him? If you happen to have an opinion that differs from blm or antifa....best keep it to yourself. Especially if you’re white.
