Sheriff: Irion County Closes Courthouse Offices Due to Power Outages

MERTZON, TX – Irion County Sheriff’s Office has announced a power outage in the area.

According to updates posted on the Irion County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, AEP crews have been dispatched to the area and are working on restoring power. The latest estimate puts the time of restoration at 2:00 p.m. Courthouse offices are currently closed until the power comes back on.

According to the AEP Outage map there are still outages in the area. More updates will be provided as they become available.
