Big Spring ISD Evacuated After Receiving Early Morning Bomb Threat

BIG SPRING, TX – Big Spring ISD had an unsettling start to their week after they were evacuated on Monday morning following a bomb threat. 

According to KTXS, at 8:00 a.m. administrators were advised that a school employee had received an email in which a bomb threat was made against “the gym.” Students and staff were evacuated from areas close to gyms across the district.

All Big Spring ISD gyms were inspected and cleared, allowing students to return to their classes in the early afternoon.
