Woman Shoots and Kills Bobcat in Her Backyard

 

ABILENE, TX -- An Abilene mother shot and killed a bobcat in her backyard Friday. 

KTXS is reporting that Paula Kitchens was alerted to the cat prowling around her backyard by her dog barking. 

Kitchens six-year-old son plays in her back yard near Loop 322 and Oldham Lane.  

The woman grabbed her gun and went outside.  The bobcat climbed up a tree. 

Kitchens shot at the bobcat and missed.  The bobcat then leaped out of the tree.  Kitchens shot a second time killing the bobcat.
