15-Year-Old Student Charged after Stabbing at School

 

ODESSA, TX — A 15-year-old student has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony. The charges against him came following a stabbing at Permian High School today.

According to the Public Information Officer Mike Adkins, The victim, 15, and the suspect, 15, confronted each other on the west side of the Permian campus after school.

The suspect student then took his right hand out of his jacket and stabbed the victim twice in the arm and once in the left upper portion of the victim’s back.  

Adkins added that the suspect was taken to the Ector County Youth Center and the victim was taken to a local hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries.
