Abilene Hooters to Open in January

ABILENE, TX-- The new year brings many things, a new wing joint is one of them for Abilene residents.

Construction for the first-ever Hooters location in Abilene began over the summer, with Hooters filing permits with the City of Abilene in June 2017.

No official date has been set, but officials are eyeing the end of January 2018 to open the restaurant to the public.

The 2042 E. Overland Trail location also began their hiring process online, offering positions such as General Manager, Host, Restaurant Manager, Kitchen Staff, and, their most well-known position, Hooters Girl. There are still five full-time and over 70 part-time positions still available.
