SAN ANGELO, TX- A press release from the Texas Comptroller’s office is pleased to announce a new look for the agency’s website, Comptroller.Texas.Gov.
The website is “delivering a more intuitive and customer service-focused design containing a powerful, enhanced search function that offers faster and more accurate results, and an all new responsive framework that creates a rich mobile experience for phone and tablet users,” said the press release.
The Comptroller’s website overhaul demonstrates the agency's commitment to provide taxpayers easy access to the tools used the most.
Key Features on the site include:
- Streamlined automated processes: Economic and various tax data are displayed more intuitively and cleanly.
- Enhanced customer service: Homepage access to the Business Center showcases commonly used tools and applications, making it easier to do business. The help videos offer additional assistance.
- Enhanced search capability: Visitors can find what they need faster, with greater precision in keyword searches.
- 508 compliance: Users with different visual abilities will have a quality experience.
The press release noted, "The Comptroller’s office launched its first agency website in December 1994. Since then, agency executives created several more program-specific websites. Now those sites come together. Comptroller.Texas.Gov will be a one-stop shop for nearly all agency needs, [for] this single website houses the former TexasTransparency.org, TexasAhead.org,KeepingTexasFirst.org, TheTexasEconomy.org, MatchthePromise.org and EveryChanceEveryTexan.org."
