Multiple Power Outages Reported in Big Country Counties

 

Thanks to the winter storm that hit the area Saturday evening and Sunday, thousands of customers in Big Country counties are without power.

AEP Texas has reported outages in the following counties:

  • Childress County: 2,045 people affected
  • Taylor County: 1,393 people affected
  • Haskell County, 1,796 people affected
  • Fisher County: 116 people affected
  • Knox County: 951 people affected

According to a local news site in the area, crews are working to restore power to the affected counties. More winter weather is expected tonight and Monday morning.
