Tom Green County Treasurer Wins State Award

Tom Green County Treasurer Dianna Spieker recently took top honors at the County Treasurer's Association of Texas Annual Conference in Wichita Falls.

At that meeting, Spieker was awarded the 2015 Outstanding County Treasurer of Texas title. 

"Being nominated by my Region was an honor unto itself, being selected as one of the five finalists was humbling and exciting," Spieker said. "To be named the 2015 Outstanding County Treasurer by all my peers is truly an experience of a lifetime."

Spieker said that all of this year's finalists could have easily won the award, and mentioned each for their outstanding service.  

"Each one is exceptional in their counties and in our CTAT family," Spieker said. " I congratulate each one!" 

Katherine Hudson, Wise County Treasurer; Renee Couch, Comal County Treasurer; Kelli White, Smith County Treasurer and Melinda Krause, Lee County Treasurer were the other finalists.
