Kingston Flemings scored 23 points and No. 7 Houston overcame a late Texas Tech surge to defeat the No. 14 Red Raiders 69-65 on Tuesday night at the Fertitta Center.
The No. 16 Wall Hawks took on Grape Creek for a district matchup in Wall on Tuesday night. Wall jumped to an early lead before cooling off on offense before halftime. Out of the break, the Hawks took over to pull away from the Eagles 63-32.
Two Central Bobcats and a Wall Hawk had the opportunity to compete for a final time recently in the Blue-Grey All-American Bowl at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
The Wall Lady Hawks are once again the No. 1-ranked girls basketball team in Texas in Class 3A. Christoval also made its first appearance in the Top 25 in this week's rankings.
