Angelo State Softball End-of-Season Press Conference

SAN ANGELO, TX — The Angelo State Rambelles saw their 2026 softball season come to an end in the South Central Regional Tournament over the weekend. The Belles fought through much adversity to claim even a single game before circumstances went against the ladies.

ASU claimed a win over Texas A&M-Kingsville, 6-5, before falling to West Texas A&M, 9-6, and then to Kingsville, 8-5, in two straight games to end the Rambelles' playoff ambitions.

Head coach Travis Scott held his end-of-season press conference at the Junell Center on Monday to talk about the tournament and the season as a whole. Watch that press conference above.

The Rambelles finish 2026 with a 47-14 record and ranked No. 16 overall in the nation. Angelo State also brought hardware home this season after the Belles won the Lone Star Conference Tournament earlier this month.
