WATCH: No. 2 Angelo State Rambelles Head to Florida
SAN ANGELO, TX — The Angelo State softball team travels to Florida this weekend for a five-game road trip across three days, beginning Friday.
The Rambelles will face Embry-Riddle on Friday, play a doubleheader against Florida Tech on Saturday and conclude the trip with two games Sunday against Rollins.
Angelo State enters the weekend after going 4-1 at the George and Ola McCorkle Challenge in San Angelo, winning its final four games by a combined 31-1 margin after a 2-0 loss to Missouri Western.

Weekly honors
Zoey Sifuentes was named Lone Star Conference Freshman of the Week after hitting .500 with a .706 on-base percentage and .800 slugging percentage during the tournament.
Her six doubles are tied for the conference lead, and she ranks third in the league with a 1.549 OPS.
Tatiana Trotter was previously selected LSC Preseason Offensive Player of the Year after a 2025 season in which she hit .330 with 14 home runs and 47 RBIs and earned an LSC Golden Glove.

Angelo State was picked third in the LSC preseason poll behind UT Tyler and West Texas A&M earlier this year before climbing to No. 2 overall in the rankings. The program is in its 25th Division II season and owns a 997-363-1 record since 2002, including the 2004 national championship and 19 NCAA Tournament appearances. Fourteen new players are on the 2026 roster, while Trotter and Abby Brand are the primary returning hitters and Bri Waters returns in the pitching staff.
