No. 2 Wall Opens Playoffs Against Anthony

WALL, TX — The No. 2 Wall Hawks (10-0) travel to Pecos on Friday night to take on Anthony (2-8) in the Bi-District Round of the 2025 Texas High School Football Playoffs.

The Hawks are heavy favorites in this matchup, with good reason. Wall proved time and time again this season that they are one of the few teams in Texas with the talent to go the distance in the playoffs, and that road starts in Pecos against Anthony.

Anthony has struggled with most opponents on their schedule this season. With wins their only wins coming over Van Horn and Cobre (combined record of 2-18), the Wildcats will have their hands full with the Hawks on Friday night.

Wall needs to focus on getting a lead and then staying healthy in this matchup. There are plenty of tough opponents left in the playoffs, and the Hawks will need their entire arsenal if they want to challenge for a state title.
