WATCH: Angelo State HC Discusses Rams' Mistakes Against UTPB

SAN ANGELO, TX — The No. 12 Angelo State Rams look to bounce back after a difficult 28-14 home loss last weekend to UT Permian Basin.

With the loss, the Rams dropped to 4-1 overall and 2-1 in Lone Star Conference play. 

Rams Head Coach Jeff Girsch discussed the team's loss to UTPB and the upcoming matchup against Texas A&M Kingsville at his weekly press conference on Monday at the Junell Center. 

Several untimely penalties and a slow start ultimately cost the Rams on Saturday. Head Coach Girsch says while this is not the end of the world for the Rams this season, there is much to improve on during practice this week.

The Rams travel to Kingsville on Saturday, October 11. Kickoff in that matchup is scheduled for 7 p.m.
