Two Christoval Athletes Sign to Play at the Next Level

CHRISTOVAL, TX— Two Christoval High School seniors signed with colleges to compete at the next level.

On May 12, 2025, Madyson George and Natalie Brooks signed with Central Christian College in McPherson, Kansas for basketball and Angelo State University for cheer, respectively.

“We are really proud to these two young ladies,” coach Brad Blalock said, “It’s very, very rare that we have athletes get to go and compete at the next level and get to continue their career beyond high school.”

When speaking about George, Blalock said, “She is planning on attending Central Christian College, which is in the Sooner Athletic Conference, to play at the next level. We’re really excited about Maydson and all of her achievements. Basketball has always been a part of what she’s wanted to do.”

Christoval cheer coach Candace Munoz spoke about Brooks and said, “I only had Natalie for half a season … in that short amount of time, I definitely saw her passion for cheer. I’m super proud of her for going for that next level. She worked really hard at different tryouts and preparing for that.”
