Wall Hawks' Briggs Jones Dominates the Cotton Patch Relays

WALL, TX — The Wall Hawks hosted the Cotton Patch relays on Wednesday. The Hawks won the track meet, but a certain Hawk in particular dominated the field in every event he entered. Wall's Briggs Jones collected five gold medals to help propel the Hawks to victory.

Jones competed in the 100-meter dash, the 200-meter dash, the 4x200-meter relay, the long jump, and the triple jump.

He began his day with the field events, where he won the long jump (23-04.75) and the triple jump (47-01.5). Later in the day, he won the 100m (10.59), the 200m (22.54), and as a part of the 4x200m (1:28.23).

San Angelo LIVE!'s Ryan Chadwick caught up with Jones during the day for an interview.
