Wall's Gunnar Dillard Signs to Play Baseball for University of Oklahoma

WALL, TX — Wall High School senior Gunnar Dillard signed to play baseball for the University of Oklahoma on Wednesday during a ceremony in the Wall gym.

Dillard is a catcher who posted a .564 batting average last season and a .648 on-base percentage. He hit 5 home runs, 17 doubles and 3 triples.

Dillard joins Luke Young as recent NCAA Division I baseball signees from Wall. Young signed with Oklahoma State in 2022 after a standout career at Midland College, but he never played for OSU after being selected in the 11th round of the Major League Baseball Draft by the Washington Nationals.
