Waco (2-2) at San Angelo Central (2-2) - 7 p.m. at Shotwell in Abilene

Chadwick—The Bobcats are riding a two-game win streak for the first time in two seasons heading into the matchup with Waco. The home atmosphere will help as the Bobcats take on another team that has struggled in previous seasons. English and the Bobcats should prove too much for the Lions on Friday night.

Chadwick - The Lubbock-Cooper Patriots return home after a four-game road trip. Patriot Stadium was not complete before the start of the 2024 season but is finally ready for its debut. Liberty should be full of emotion and energy on Friday night. I think this is the week that this young football program gets its first win.

Wall at Sweetwater - 7 p.m. Mustang Bowl - Sweetwater

Chadwick - Another tough test for the Wall Hawks this week when they hit the road to play the Mustangs. Wall had to make a last-second stand against Monahans a week ago and will need to play better to beat Sweetwater. Wall is missing some key pieces but should still be able to play at a high level.
