Grape Creek HC Tanner Thiel Sits Down with COVER1

SAN ANGELO, TX — Grape Creek Head Coach Tanner Thiel sat down with the COVER1 Crew on Thursday, July 25, to discuss the Eagles' prospects ahead of the 2024 high school football season.

Grape Creek finished with a 2-8 overall record last year. While that might not look too impressive, the Eagles faced a tough non-district schedule and had to play schools like the Wall Hawks in the district. Grape Creek made a strong step near the end of the season, winning its final two games in 2024.

The Eagles beat Brady before they followed that win up with another victory over Ballinger. Grape Creek lost out on a playoff spot due to a tie-breaker but finished the year on a high note. Coach Thiel explains who to watch out for this season and what this team will be capable of producing on both sides of the football.
