RYAN CHADWICK - The Wall Hawks come up against a true test this week when they face the Childress Bobcats tonight in Post. Coach Guy said at practice this week that it is time to find out how good this batch of Hawks can be. Wall has to control the line of scrimmage and dominate the time of possession to give its defense free reign in this ball game. I’m rolling with the Hawks.  PICK: WALL 28 CHILDRESS 10

CHADWICK - The Bulldogs flattened the Sterling City Eagles a week ago in San Angelo. Miles will need that kind of effort to get past Collinsville. It’ll be an uphill battle all night, but with the weapons that the Bulldogs have in Ellison, Book, and Meade, victory is not impossible. It will be a shootout, but I’m picking Collinsville.  PICK: COLLINSVILLE 42 MILES 35

BOULIGNY - Miles need to do what they did last week against Sterling City and play really solid defense. The Bulldog D really came together and they'll have to do the game thing and take the ball away from a very talented Collinsville Pirates roster. PICK MILES 45 - COLLINSVILLE 42

SONORA VS FARWELL AT 7 P.M. ON 11/17 (SNYDER)

BOULIGNY -  Sonora is going to be fine after beating Anson by 2 points last week. 

CHADWICK - Sonora squeaked by against Anson last week. Last-minute grit and heroics from the Bronchos helped Sonora prevail in the end. They cannot do that this week against Farwell. Another week has passed since Edgar Deluna was injured, so that’s another week of recuperation for that injured ankle. The Bronchos need a healthy run game to pick another win.  PICK: SONORA 35 FARWELL 21

BOULIGNY - The Bronte Longhorns just aren't on the Richland Springs level and the Coyotes will put up points in bunches. This one could end in a mercy rule. PICK: RICHLAND SPRINGS 56 - BRONTE 0

CHADWICK - The Longhorns are in for a battle on Friday night. Richland Springs brings another powerhouse in 2023, and Bronte will have their hands full.
