WATCH: Grape Creek Upsets Brady To Pick Up Their First Win in the Mud

BRADY, TX – The Grape Creek Eagles won a hard-fought game on Friday night against the Brady Bulldogs 20-13.

The game was back and forth all game. At one point, the teams were taken back to the locker room as a result of a rain delay. This downpour on Brady's grass field turned the football game into a mud wrestling match.

"We've been waiting for this all season. We're a very young team with only 6 seniors, so there was a lot of growing up tonight," said Grape Creek Head Coach Tanner Thiel. "I am so excited for my kids; they worked really hard for this. Our coaching staff stayed the course. We didn't look like an 0-8 football team out there."

Next week, Grape Creek takes on Ballinger. Brady takes on Wall. If Brady wants to make the playoffs, next week is a must-win.
