Wall Secures District Championship with Blowout Win vs Early

SAN ANGELO, TX – The Wall Hawks secured another district championship on Friday night with a win over the Early Longhorns 50-6.

The Hawks jumped out quickly with a 14-0 lead after a long running touchdown, an interception, and a big catching touchdown. Also, one play in the first half was a diving touchdown catch in the back of the end zone.

"You know coming in we knew that they were going to be a good football team. They were getting healthy at the right time," said head coach Houston Guy following the win. "Our kids are pretty resilient. I thought they probably played their best ball game tonight."

Early was able to score late, but by then it was too little, too late.
