WATCH: Eldorado Skunks Sterling City in the Battle of the Eagles

STERLING CITY, TX – Eldorado shut out Sterling City on Friday night in the 2023 battle of the Eagles.

Eldorado played phenomenally on both sides of the ball by scoring 24 unanswered points. Defensively, Eldorado was able to get multiple turnovers.

"We knew coming over here that that's a good stinking football team on the other side," said Eldorado Head Coach Chad Tutle after the game. "We knew we had to play really, really well, and our defense played lights out."

With the win, district seeding is up in the air. Eldorado now sits in the third seat while Sterling City is in 2nd. Wink did win tonight, so they are undefeated, sitting in the 1st place spot.

Next week, Eldorado plays Iraan, while Sterling City plays Wink in hopes of making that top spot interesting.
