Bronco Duo Rolls Through Reagan County

SONORA, TX – The Sonora Bronco duo of Jaime Buitron and Edgar DeLuna pushed their winning streak to 7 in a row following a 57-12 win over the Reagan County Owls.

The Broncos went up early and never looked back. Leading 28-0 at halftime, the Broncos never let off the gas. Buitron and DeLuna scored six of their either touchdowns, with DeLuna alone having 5 of them.

"Our kids played well. Every time we win it's on them," said head coach Blake Weston. "We kinda expanded some stuff with Buitron and let him run a little big and with number one back there it's always nice to hand him the football."

The Broncos are riding high, sitting in the number one spot in their district. They will have to make the long drive to Anthony next week.

As for Reagan County, they now sit 0-2 in district but hope to change that next week against the Ozona Lions.
