COVER1 Tour Across the Concho Valley: Grape Creek Eagles HC Tanner Thiel

SAN ANGELO, TX – The COVER1 crew continued its annual tour across the Concho Valley on Friday with an exclusive interview with Tanner Thiel, the Head Coach of the Grape Creek Eagles football team.

Coming off an 0-10 (0-5) season, Coach Thiel says his team is filled with young athletes looking to turn the program around. The Eagles made the playoffs and won a district title in the 2021 season. Although 2022 was a complete opposite, Thiel feels good about his chances coming up.

Coach Thiel and the Eagles have a tough schedule with teams like Wall, Brady, and Early. Despite that Thiel says they will take each game one at a time. On top of that with the Eagles special old school ground and pound offense.
