Brown County Hosts Two 60+ Point Blowouts

BROWNWOOD— Two stadiums in Brown County were the sites of two different blowouts Friday night when the Brownwood Lions and the Early Longhorns dropped over 60 points each on the Lake View Chiefs and the Brady Bulldogs respectively.

First, at Gordon Wood Stadium, the 9th ranked Brownwood Lions took on the Lake View Chiefs and ended the game 66-0 with Jaylen Brown, Levi Pearson, and Ike Hall Jr. all enjoying their time in the end zone before the end of the first quarter.

A short 11-minute drive down FM 2126, sits Longhorn Stadium in Early, Texas, where the Early Longhorns were taking on the Brady Bulldogs. The Bulldogs were in a hole early in the second quarter when the score was 28-0. The second quarter of this game took nearly an hour due to the number of flags thrown. The Longhorns took this one 69-8.
