The honor marks the No. 6 Angelo State volleyball team's third weekly award of the season.
Hopkins, a psychology major from Austin, averaged 4.38 kills per set while hitting .329 to help lead the Belles to road victories over UT Dallas and UT Tyler.
She opened the weekend with a career-high 19 kills and a .368 attack percentage in Angelo State's 3-1 victory over UT Dallas. Hopkins followed with 16 kills while hitting .289 in another 3-1 win over UT Tyler.
Across the two matches, Hopkins added eight digs, three total blocks and an assist as the Belles extended their winning streak to nine matches.
Entering the upcoming weekend, Hopkins leads Angelo State with 191 kills while hitting .260. She has also recorded 216.5 points, ranking second on the team.
The Belles will look to extend their winning streak Saturday, Oct. 10, when they travel to Odessa to face UT Permian Basin. First serve is scheduled for 2 p.m.
