Angelo State Volleyball to Celebrate Women in Sports, Military This Weekend

SAN ANGELO, TX — The No. 6-ranked Angelo State Rambelles volleyball team will host Oklahoma Christian and Cameron this weekend at the Junell Center.

At 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, the Belles will take on Oklahoma Christian while honoring Women in Sports Day. Girls ages 14 and younger get free admission into the match, while girls 15 and over and women will have an admission fee of $5. 

There will also be a sign-making station, face painting and a photo opportunity with the mascot, Bella, along with a special in-game feature celebrating women in sports.

At 2 p.m. Saturday against Cameron, the Belles will recognized Military Appreciation Day. Active-duty military and their dependents will receive free admission with a valid military ID. Veterans and military retirees also get free admission with the military ID. 

ASU is 12-1 this season and 2-0 in Lone Star Conference play.
