Cowboys Sign Quinnen Williams to $105.9 Million Contract Extension

FRISCO, TX — The Dallas Cowboys have agreed to a three-year, $105.9 million contract extension with defensive tackle Quinnen Williams, according to NFL Network.

The extension carries an average annual value of $35.3 million, making Williams the second-highest-paid interior defensive lineman in the NFL behind Jalen Carter of the Philadelphia Eagles, who signed a record-setting extension last month. ESPN reported the deal includes $101 million in total guarantees, including $63.35 million fully guaranteed at signing.

Williams, a four-time Pro Bowl selection, was acquired by Dallas from the New York Jets at the 2025 trade deadline in exchange for defensive tackle Mazi Smith, a 2026 second-round draft pick and a 2027 first-round pick.

The Cowboys made signing Williams to a long-term extension a priority after his arrival in Dallas, with executive vice president Stephen Jones previously indicating the organization intended to keep the former first-round pick as a cornerstone of its defense.

The 28-year-old entered the NFL as the No. 3 overall pick in the 2019 draft out of Alabama. He earned first-team All-Pro honors in 2022 and has been selected to four consecutive Pro Bowls. Through seven NFL seasons, Williams has recorded 343 tackles, 41.5 sacks, eight forced fumbles and two interceptions.
