SAN ANGELO, TX — Angelo State will host its 2026 Lone Star Summer Showcase Camp on Saturday, Aug. 29, at Foster Field at 1st Community Credit Union Stadium.
The showcase is open to high school baseball players ages 15-19 and will provide participants with an opportunity to display their skills while receiving instruction from the Angelo State coaching staff. The cost to attend is $150.
The camp will be conducted in a format similar to a Major League Baseball scouting workout, allowing players to be evaluated in several areas of the game.
Participants will take part in:
- 60-yard dash
- Infield and outfield defensive drills
- Catchers' pop time evaluations
- Batting practice
- Pitchers' bullpen sessions
- Game competition
