GREENWOOD, IN — Three members of the Angelo State women’s golf team were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, the organization announced earlier this week.
Mia Clarke, Beth Norton and Caitlin Vanderkruk each earned the honor following their performances on the course and in the classroom during the 2026 season.
Clarke, a senior interdisciplinary studies student from Liverpool, England, recorded three top-10 finishes this season, including winning the individual title at the Swan Memorial in September. She also became the first Rambelle to earn All-Lone Star Conference honors under head coach Barb Odale.
Norton, a senior kinesiology student from Rotherham, England, posted a 76.8 scoring average and recorded a season-best seventh-place finish at the WT Desert Invite to close the regular season.
Vanderkruk, a sophomore management student from Brisbane, Australia, averaged a 78.3 score across 20 rounds and finished sixth at the Palm Valley Classic in April.
