SAN ANGELO, TX — Angelo State's volleyball head coach Chuck Waddington announced the Belles’ 2026 schedule on Thursday.
The Belles are coming off a 2025 season in which they went 26-8 overall and 15-2 in Lone Star Conference play, winning the conference regular-season and tournament titles and advancing to the South Central Regional final for the second consecutive season.
Angelo State opens the 2026 campaign by hosting the Kathleen Brasfield Invitational on Aug. 28-29 at the Junell Center-Stephens Arena. The Belles will face East Central, Fort Lewis, MSU Moorhead and CSU Pueblo.
The Belles begin their road schedule Sept. 1 against Adams State in a regional matchup.
For the second straight season, Angelo State will compete in the Colorado Premier Challenge in Denver, facing Bentley, last season’s East Regional champion, along with host and defending national champion MSU Denver.
The Belles will host the LSC Challenge on Sept. 10-12, welcoming West Texas A&M University and Lubbock Christian University.
Conference play begins on the road Sept. 18-19 against St. Mary’s and St. Edward’s. Angelo State returns home the following week to host Oklahoma Christian on Sept. 25, Cameron on Sept. 26 and Sul Ross State on Sept. 29.
Other notable matches include UT Tyler on Oct. 3, Texas Woman’s at home on Oct. 16, West Texas A&M on Oct. 24, Midwestern State at home on Oct. 30 and Lubbock Christian at home on Oct. 31.
The Lone Star Conference regular-season champion will host the conference tournament Nov. 11-13, with the South Central Regional scheduled for the following week.
The NCAA Division II Championships are set for Dec. 3-5 in Kansas City, Missouri.
