SAN ANTONIO, TX — Four Angelo State softball players earned All-South Central Region honors from the Division II Conference Commissioners' Association, the organization announced.
Addy Ewing, Zoey Sifuentes and Tatiana Trotter were named first-team selections, while Kylie Forney earned second-team honors.
Ewing anchored the Rambelles in the circle, finishing the 2026 season with a 17-0 record and a 2.43 ERA. She recorded two complete games, including one shutout, and added four saves. The kinesiology major struck out 78 batters over 118 1/3 innings while holding opponents to a .245 batting average. It marks her second all-region honor and first first-team selection after previously earning second-team recognition from the NFCA.
Sifuentes, the Lone Star Conference Freshman of the Year, led the team with a .404 batting average, 21 doubles and 76 RBIs. The Lamesa native hit 16 home runs and posted an .814 slugging percentage while recording multiple double-digit hit streaks. She previously earned NFCA first-team all-region honors.
Trotter collected her second first-team all-region honor of the season and the fifth of her career. The senior finished with a .358 batting average, 18 home runs and 58 RBIs. She set the program record with 18 career triples and became the fifth player in program history to surpass 40 career home runs. Trotter also posted a team-best .838 slugging percentage and a 29-game on-base streak during the season.
Forney earned the first all-region honor of her career after batting .352 with 68 runs scored. The LSC Newcomer of the Year led the conference with 54 walks and 34 stolen bases, finishing with a .545 on-base percentage — the third-best single-season mark in program history.
Ewing, Sifuentes and Trotter advance to the D2CCA All-American ballot.
