INDIANAPOLIS, IN — The No. 12-ranked Angelo State baseball team was selected as the No. 3 seed in the South Central Regional of the 2026 NCAA Division II Baseball Championship, the NCAA announced Sunday night.
Angelo State (40-17) will compete at the UT Tyler regional site alongside No. 2 UT Tyler (43-10) and No. 6 Metro State-Denver (38-16).
Top-seeded Colorado Mesa (49-4) will host the other half of the regional in Grand Junction, Colorado, which includes No. 4 St. Mary’s (38-17) and No. 5 Lubbock Christian (34-21).
The winners of each regional will advance to a best-of-three Super Regional hosted by the highest remaining seed. A berth in the Division II College World Series will be on the line.
