Angelo State Tennis Debuts at No. 2 in First South Central Rankings

 

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Angelo State Tennis came in as the second-ranked team in the first NCAA Division II South Central Regional rankings announced on Wednesday.

The Rambelles sit behind UT Tyler in the rankings, with Midwestern State University, Lubbock Christian University, and St. Mary's University rounding out the top five.

The top four teams in the rankings will advance to the NCAA South Central Regional, scheduled for May 8-9.

Angelo State is currently 20-1 on the season and remains in strong position for postseason qualification.

The Rambelles return to action April 24 in Lubbock against Lubbock Christian at noon before traveling to Odessa to play UTPB on April 25, also scheduled for a noon start.
