Angelo State Women Finish 8th at LSC Golf Championships

 

ROCKWALL, TX – The Angelo State University women’s golf team climbed the leaderboard in the third and final round of the Lone Star Conference Championships on Tuesday, moving up three spots to card an eighth-place finish.

Mia Clarke finished as the top finisher for ASU, finishing in 13th place after shooting a 76 (+4).

Beth Norton carded ASU's best round Tuesday with a 73 (+1), which saw her move up seven spots to finish in 26th.

Kelsey Kline shot two-over in the third round, a four-stroke improvement from her Round 1 performance.

Christine Huse and Caitlin Vanderkruk each shot four-over in the final round as they finished 43rd and 49th, respectively.

The Rambelles will now await the release of the NCAA Tournament field, scheduled for April 26.
