Water Valley's Lacy Named to All-State Basketball Team

WATER VALLEY, TX — Water Valley High School senior Landon Lacy was the only player from the Concho Valley named to the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches All-State Team.

Just 25 players in the state in each classification earned the honor.

Lacy averaged 18 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals for the Wildcats, who went 22-4 and were ranked No. 19 in the state in Class 1A.

Lacy led Water Valley to the regional final for the second consecutive year.

Last month, Lacy announced his commitment to play football at Hardin-Simmons University, an NCAA Division III school in Abilene.

He led Water Valley's football team to back-to-back appearances in the 1A Division I state semifinals and was named co-MVP of the San Angelo LIVE! All-Cover 1 Football Team along with teammate Boston Wiese.
